Snow wasn't invincible in that fight.

You could see him being saved by chance several times. A horse ran over someone as he was about to kill Snow. A fellow stabbing a dude in the face right as he was about to shove a sword through Snow's back.

They certainly confused the situation ... luck,invincibility or divine intervention.

Not sure if anyone else mentioned but the scene of Jon being buried was actually thought up by the director when he couldn't make what the writers wrote work on the time/budget he had. Ended up being one of the most memorable scenes of the series IMO.

Well he was dead for a couple of days. His organs would not work because the cells would be dead. His brain received no oxygen so it would not function either.

Obviously its some TV show "black magic" which allows them to do whatever they want with Snow and explain it as the Lord of the Light.

I'm sure that is what Cersi is considering. We already have Jamie saying she has already burned a city to ash. She and the Lannisters are going down, the mountain would light up the city with no moral issues.

No doubt you are correct on the motives and who will light the fuse.

And no doubt it will be as epic as the army of the Vale (which everyone knew would happen) showing up last week.

That was a shit scene, and you know that occurred to fit the writing's agenda. What we do have to fall back on is their reputation, and that is the fact that they are considered to be one of the most elite fighting units in existence. I guarantee once the script is flipped they will be something of significance.

Game of Thrones alternate title: What If Women Ruled The World?

Is that the ultimate end game here? In Westeros, women cannot rule, or at least, are not supposed to rule. Now you have the Mother of Dragons ready to come home, you have Sansa as the eldest surviving Stark south of the Wall, you have Yara with designs on the Iron Islands, Circe is one more child death away from being Queen, and the no more weak male rulers in Dorne, and the Queen of Thorns still commands a large force. Oh, and don't mess with Lady Mormont! I almost forgot, I know which side I would choose to come out victorious in Red Witches vs the Septs.

Men have pretty much let this world devolve into shit. Is this an experiment to see if women could actually do it better?

The unsullied weren't meant for that type of combat so it's not a huge surprise what happened there. My main gripe with that episode was Barristan going down like a bitch.
