Bears have Jaylon Johnson who they're likely to extend and can do so without surrendering picks. They're equally unlikely, IMO.

It's going to be Detroit. For Williams and 61.

I'm thinking the Bears will have a surplus of picks when they either ship Fields to ATL or trade out of #1.

I supposed they could throw numbers at the CB spot instead of cap, but they also have an absurd amount of cap space to play with.

Bears and Lions are good choices. I also think the Cardinals make a lot of sense. They've got a decent amount of cap space and have the number 27 and 35 picks. If you can get the 35th pick for Sneed, that would be pretty attractive imo.

I wanted Jameson Williams pretty badly in that draft. What’s the story on him so far? Is he still expected to develop into an above average receiver?

I just think it's where we're at with the situation. I don't see how we can offer what Sneed likely deserves on the open market.

I know, it's easy to forget the cap portion. Just sucks that we have to pay elite money to elite talent.

Yep. The system is built to reward teams who can exploit and underpay for overperformance.

Thankfully Veach is the best.

I like the bolded.

Don't get why people want Detroit's decoy WR.
