Peacock exclusive playoff game is stupid

Bad move by the league. Quit being greedy and keeping your customers from watching your product.

Surely they wont put Mahomes in that game but who knows.

Save your money on peacock, illegally stream the game, and send the 5.99 to CP server donations. You (A) stick it to the man and (B) maintain a meticulously fabricated flaming dumpster fire enviroment that has that sprinkle of aids you can only find here.

I just hate the fact that in order to watch a single NFL game, I have to sign up for a streaming service I don't want or need, and then cancel it when the game is over. It just feels sleazy to me.

If the NFL came out with an al-la-carte service that allowed you to pick and and choose from every game, each week, that they stream on a 'Reliable' platform and charged $20.00 per game (or whatever amount) I would be fine with it.

Now get off of my lawn!
I've been saying it for years. Give me all of the Chiefs games for $200 a year and I'd pay it gladly. I don't really give a shit about the other games.

Do you have the same level of anger for Monday Night Football games on ESPN or games that are exclusive to NFL Network?

Hell, I wanted to watch Purdue go down last night and it was on ****ing Peacock.

I didn't sit on the couch and cry about it, but that doesn't make it any less reeruned to think I'd have to pay for a month of access to each streaming site every time there's a game of interest on (and then watch 50% commercials).

This is where I'm at. I'm out of market. I'll pay for the games if I need to. I don't particularly enjoy going out to sports bars, but that's what it is and I'll do it. What I don't enjoy is having games like the stupid Germany game and the stupid playoff game where the NFL is specifically saying, "You have to pay this third party to get the game because even though we can show you the game or make arrangements via current channels to show the game, we can make more money by forcing you to go sign up somewhere else, you worthless, menial customer."

All I'm asking is to make it simple for me, the customer, to pay you for your product. Don't intentionally create hassles for me just because you think I'm a customer and that I'll never say no. Because at some point I'll say no.

The NFL has a terrible web site, but they could easily set up a "Chiefs season ticket". While $200 is close to my uppper end of tolerance, I'd pay $200 for it. I'd pay $100 without blinking. Treat me with respect and let me know that we're on the same side and I'll pay. Treat me like garbage so you can make another few bucks and I'll stop giving you those few bucks.

And while I'm here, stop barraging your web sites with ads. Do you really need that .01 cents per ad when I'm trying to watch a highlight? I don't go to the NFL web site any more because it's a terrible experience, and it's a terrible experience because they're trying to wring absolutely every penny of profit out of it with no regard to user experience.

The online world could make life so much better, but companies have decided that they're going to use it to intentionally make life worse. It's sad.

I'm curious. When you paid $100 or $200 or whatever for Sunday Ticket, did they provide notice that some games would intentionally be withheld to be shown exclusively on other subscription services?

It's called "Sunday Ticket," and to my knowledge, none of the games on other networks have been on Sundays.

Sometimes it is not just the 6 bucks. It is the hassle of finding a device that has it, signing up, giving your info and card. then remembering what you have to do to cancel, Because they make that easy.

We are at the point we have TOO MANY CHOICES. And the sometimes makes the brain not function well. With all the things you want to watch -split up in 20 different services-it is tough to decide what to do.

Then the next problem is data. Xfinity has a cap of 1220 GB a month. That is for all data. If you are a gaming-you can blow through that quickly.

But of course-for more money, you can have unlimited data.

then I am sure there are some people that are not tech savy that may need a better modem or router etc to do what they want. Not a fan of the xfinity modem/router.

It is all a convoluted mess. Somedays, I just want to sit my ass on the couch, not think and watch tv.

When I had ST, only Sunday games were on. Out of market, those that were 12 and 3 games. Or the overseas game, not on any other place.
When the Chiefs./Dolphins game was moved because of a hurricane, that one was on ST. It was a regular sunday game.

I think at one time ST was as much as 350+ which is a hell of a lot to pay when you want one team. the 2-14 year ...i burned a lot of money.

The thing that pisses me off is all the sites that now demand that I turn off my ad blocker in order to use them, like CBS Sports. Well, I don't want to turn off my ad blocker, so I simply don't use them.
