I don't know if he's a dick more so basically saying, hey Chiefs, the blueprint to beat your defense is out there around the league, Bob Sutton is a 1 trick pony. You better figure it out.

They have a whole offseason to figure it out, but as people said, how does an old dog like Bob Sutton learn new tricks?

I think I was the one who said he's a dog, he's old, and he's not going to change (any number of times in my rants over the past few days).

That being said, blurting it out like that (which I should perhaps be happy about because it backs-up that the man isn't good!!), makes him a dick.

Like I said, if his health issues come back I'll say I saw it coming. He can decide if that "fact" makes me a dick. And if he thinks it does, **** him, and he can !

Not only did we not blitz but we didnt do any max coverage 3 or 2 man rushes. Nothing but 4 man rush every single play for the second half.

I listened to his Podcast of yesterday's 6:00am show, and WOW! As much as I don't like the guys at 610 (because they're pussies in so many ways) I have to admit that I really appreciate what he said. Perhaps calling KenDICK a "coward" will be looked at by some unfavorably, he was spot-on. Those people who will criticize him are the same people who will criticize a play for a PF and TOTALLY disregard the 15 things that might have lead up to the actual PF. They live in a perfect little world and it shows.

Anyway, I hope the franchise doesn't hold anything against him/610 for the honest and accurate, albeit blunt, review.

I think what he did there was as much a public service effort than anything else because I don't think these guys care, I don't thing they will look in the mirror and decide that it was on them (AL OF THEM, owner, GM, coaches and players) and double-down on their efforts to become better, and I do think most of them actually ran out of town to hide.

I think above all that last part is the most telling, they will run. And even if they don't leave the KC area (but most will), the others will lay-low in hopes of the storm passing, and unfortunately it will. Why? It's simple, unlike L.A., there's not as many things to do each and every week of the NFL season in KC. So people - mad or not - will be back next year "irregardless"!! I'll even opine that what KenDICK is both expected and prolly OK, the guy better know that he won't be back (then again this SI the franchise!!), so why endure the pain (even if he earned it). So he's a coward through-and-through, but his play on the field showed us that long before 610 verbalized it. I think non-resident people will always bother me to a point, especially the owner (!!!!!), but this is a clear example of why it bothers me, these guys can lay and egg like that and then just skip town to reduce the embarrassment. It's just one more reason they have to not give the extra push, they don't have to!

He did. You could tell he was getting ready to and then pulled back at the last minute.

It's crazy to think that Sutton wasn't thinking "what the hell,maybe I need to change it up."

Sutton pretty much relies on our all-pro pass rush to be enough. If you can rush 4 and generate pressure, you take that. It was pretty apparent that we werent getting in, and he failed to incorporate any disguised blitzes what-so-ever. He also can't go out on the field and make tackles for them. We had plenty of chances to make tackles and force punts, and we missed them. Lots of them.

Here's a scary thought - if you're only rushing 4, then there should be more guys in coverage. Could have fooled me except for the times I saw two of our guys running several steps behind one of their's in route to the end zone...
