If the Chiefs stay at #1, Milliner would have an immediate presence in the secondary. If they can get another safety in free agency or the draft, your likely looking at an elite secondary.

trade down to 10-12 range and pick up an early 2nd and maybe a 4th...
trade that early 2nd and our 4th to get back to around 25 and take Ertz... take BPA at 10-12 whether it's the best safety available, CB, rush backer or WR take best QBA with our #3 SOUNDS GOOD TO ME |

even though I think it's QB at #1 or trade back (so now with Alex Smith it is pretty much trade back or bust in my eyes) |

HOWEVER, I do find it weird he can't seem to play the TE position in the NFL as evidenced by his 70% snaps at the WR position. |

Cowherd was pimping Ertz today and I love Cowherd. Dude is the best sports radio guy out there...
Ertz says he models his game around Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten... I like the idea of having two good TE's like New England, especially with an Alex Smith. I'd love to get this guy. |

He went to college as a WR, he's basically a WR in a TE's body, doesn't block much but you can't really match up with him in the pass game.

The Chiefs, like any NFL team, need their first rounder to start day one. |
