Not just done with KC,done with the NFL

Yet another thread and I even went as far tonight that I gave away a very nice Chiefs coat and chiefs stocking cap at the party I was at.Also quit my fantasy football league and am renouncing the NFL as a whole.

Pro football is nothing more than pro wrestling only the stage is 50,000 times larger and the NFL just might get their Luck/Manning rematch and maybe even their Manning/Brady rematch.I ****ing hate to think this shit is rigged but at 51 I've seen much to much over the years and am done being made a fool of.

Oh and lastly this years pro bowl will be a fantasy draft, really, wake the **** up people we're watching another form of Hollywood where some of the actors are paid millions and some are just bit players.

Nah, this game wasn't rigged.

The Chiefs are just 'cursed' and play up tight and sucky in the playoffs.

I mean look at the Red Sox, they didn't win jack for like a century, and they are a very proud MLB franchise even before the 2000's when they started to win the WS again.

This kind of thing just happens to some teams in all of sports, and unfortunately for us it is the Chiefs.

It's like that song where he goes, "some guys have all the luck, some have all the pain..." We have all the pain.

and he was handed one of those possession by a blatant bad call on the gulble recovery, and again, the 4th down to Bowe was a non-call.

those two calls are enough to swing a close game.

It just looks scripted/terribly predictable because the best QBs have the best chance to make the playoffs, so a lot of playoff games these days end in a similar fashion.

Sadly, it wasn't about the Chiefs defense being terrible, it was about the Chiefs' inability to keep scoring, despite scoring 44 points. They actually need more weapons on offense (and of course a healthy JC would help, too) so next time they can score 48 or 51 or whatever it takes. It's terrible football, but highly entertaining to the casual fan.
How can you say it wasn't about the Chiefs defense being terrible? Seriously?

The problem for the Chiefs, and the reason your team hasn't won a playoff game in 20 years is because you keep lining up guys like Bono, Grbac, Green, and Smith against the likes of Elway, Manning, Luck...hell, even Joe Flacco.

The NFL has always and forever will be a quarterback driven league. Until KC's management pulls its head out of its ass and realizes that, you will continue to have soul-crushing playoff defeats.

no, they won because our pass rush failed get to the QB, half our secondary is ASS ...coupled with three playmakers on offense and one on defense out with injuries.

If we put up 44 points without those players, it's downright ridiculous to think we wouldn't have curbstomped them into oblivion with those players.

None of this indicates that the NFL is fixing games or that they are allowed to do so.

You mentioned common sense--well here's some:
The Patriots are, obviously, one of the NFL's "chosen" teams. I mean, they were picked to be the winners of the post-9/11 SB and have been to several others. Why then, was there even a need to videotape other team's practices?

And who ratted them out? Another team. Surely, all the teams are in on this fixing thing--that some teams are chosen to win and some are not--why would one team do this to another team? I mean, the whole league is fixed and the teams are all ok with that, but one team is going to open a huge scandal by accusing another team of cheating? Hey, we don't mind if your team has already been chosen to win--but just don't tape our practices! That's over the line!

The closest thing you will find to "rigged" in American pro sports is the current situation the Royals are in. A team with few resources in a league that goes out of its way to punish teams with few resources. College sports are even worse - mid-majors have no chance of ever winning a NC in football and a ridiculously small chance in basketball. In comparison, the Chiefs have a paved road by them, they're just incapable of staying on it.

He wasn't outplayed by Luck at all. The Chiefs defense and defensive coaches were outplayed by Luck in the 2nd half
