Dude, get past the kU-MU thing and your obvious butt hurt for all things Mizzou. Mizzou bball has good facilities and a decent enough program overall that yes a good coach can change what the last years of Haith and KA have done.

Alden is a lot like Sirhan Zenger: has 1 job. Fix the big sport that's steuggling. Like Alden, Sirhan failed but hopes you don't notice it since (a) other main revenue sport is fine and (b) some worthless non-revenue nobody cares about won the league or the league tourney or something.


All the while collecting 1/2 million and jetting around the country (nearly always to attractive destinations), sometimes overseas or Hawaii....free on the AD credit card.

The program has suffered from Alden's flailing after they didn't want to pony up for Painter. Haith was a panic hire and Kimmy was a panic hire in reaction to Haith.

Money had nothing to do with the Painter situation. Mizzou did everything they could. His wife nixed the deal at the last minute. It may or may not have been related to a certain cheerleader who got knocked up.

If you're a Kansas fan, you might want to make a point to catch the first couple games. History tells us they don't last much longer than that, typically. 11 appearances all time with only 14 victories.

Missouri has appeared in the Tourney 18 times all time and has managed 46 victories.
