Time to call your shot - predict the Chiefs' 2015 record for the season

We've seen about as much as we're gonna see of the team before the games count. I always think it's fun to lock in your predictions before the season. Assuming we can find this thread again in a few months, it will inevitably be bumped to either laugh at or cry about.

Here's the schedule:

Sun, Sep 13 @ Texans 11:00 AM
Thu, Sep 17 vs Broncos 6:25 PM
Mon, Sep 28 @ Packers 6:30 PM
Sun, Oct 4 @ Bengals 11:00 AM
Sun, Oct 11 vs Bears 11:00 AM
Sun, Oct 18 @ Vikings 11:00 AM
Sun, Oct 25 vs Steelers 11:00 AM
Sun, Nov 1 vs Lions 7:30 AM
(bye)
Sun, Nov 15 @ Broncos 2:25 PM
Sun, Nov 22 @ Chargers 6:30 PM
Sun, Nov 29 vs Bills 11:00 AM
Sun, Dec 6 @ Raiders 2:05 PM
Sun, Dec 13 vs Chargers 11:00 AM
Sun, Dec 20 @ Ravens 11:00 AM
Sun, Dec 27 vs Browns 11:00 AM
Sun, Jan 3 vs Raiders 11:00 AM

(Yeah, I'm in a thread-starting mood. Bite me.)

If they can stay healthy, this team will be awesome. It's almost plug-and-play at every position including the second teamers.

The defense is insane and the special teams, even when not healthy, are more than respectable.

If this isn't the biggest season since 1993, I'll be flummoxed.

The best part is that this is just the beginning. This is a very young team. The window is open this year.

Ok. I just wrote down my playoff and super bowl predictions. You ready? I'm going to be laughed at but **** y'all.....Chiefs 23 vs Seahawks 21.

Reasoning: This would be the year to sneak in and steal it. Lots of suspensions and injuries to key players. Pats have a 4 game suspension to deal with. Manning looks like absolute dog shit and it's August 31. The AFC isn't exactly a juggernaut. Manning is shit when it comes to late in the season and playoffs. Key is getting home game and winning our division. Thus, I'm bumping my prediction to 12-4. We knock off NE in divisional game and knock off Indy in the AFC Title game. Seahawks prevail in the NFC. Chiefs win the Super Bowl with a late FG-winning drive. Okay let me have it.

I predicted 10 wins as a result of battered fan syndrome. I'd be shocked if they only won 10 games. How ****ing amazing is that feeling? ****, it's about time...

+1.
All in as well. The only thing I'm down on is my chief fandom has led me to so many disappointing endings. Time for things to change. Hope the Royals helped sort of with the whole just get there and let it all out. This team has a lot going for it. Plus the Berry comeback has a chance to be an absolute game changer and a catalyst for this team to propel it all the way.

Damn, this thread has me so pumped!!

Have there ever been this many planeteers, and we are talking level heads here, not just the ultra homers, be all in on a squad like we are now?

I really feel like this is the year that brings us together as a BB.
Hell, as a fan base.

Plus I own Clays Av and sig for a year if we win a PO game.

I'm figuring 10-6 but almost went with 11-5. Just too use to being disappointed so I stuck with the 10-6 prediction.

We have every reason to be. This team is stacked deep at nearly every position like most of us have never seen. Dorsey has built a team that is ready to be competitive for years to come. If you're not excited about this team's potential, you haven't been paying attention

Yeah, you lost me at the midget having the Chiefs SB hopes pinned on him.

Cairo Santos? SB winning FG?
