This dude deserves some love. The pass breakup and the forced fumble were two of the biggest plays of the day.

He got beat deep early, but he more than made up for it.

Losing HB feels like losing Fisher. It didn’t just make us worse at one spot. His role is so important that someone needed to fill in for him (Thornhill). Then, someone is filling in for Thornhill and so on.

Good to see Thornhill play well with a bigger assignment. Very encouraging.

I think by the second half he really had his sea legs back and embraced the role as the guy who had to make plays. Last year i didnt see that tenacity. I am excited to see him paired with HB again.

Sneed got beat a few times as well, but the play I was referencing was definitely Ward. 7:10 at the link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4g2R-kn_-0c

Looks like he did what I thought he did. Didn't end up mattering much in the end, but he should have been there to assist on the tackle. That would have saved like 10 yards in this situation and possibly 3 points.

Really seems like confidence/trust in his rebuilt knee is the only thing holding Thornhill back.

Hopefully being throw in with little safety net due to Honey Badger's unavailability helped him clear a hurdle. KC needs Thornhill to be second contract-worthy.
