I'm on my third CC & 7. It's been a long, long while since I've had a drink. It's not smart considering I had surgery a few weeks ago and I'm still on prescribed medicine, but I'm in the mood to get hammered. Actually waiting for a cab to come swoop me up and take me into the city for some fun with some old friends. I may be dumb for drinking on pills, but at least I'm not driving.

Think twice my friend...My best friend died from mixing medication and alchohol...I see his children a couple of times a month when we visit his grave..

my friend does that shit all the time, he'll take a couple pain killers and start drinking. I still can't figure out why he'd want to do that. Be careful

I got together with my old buddies jack, Jim and Johnny - we went out and had turkey for dinner (it was wild). Now I'm home and it's just me and jack - we are having coke before bed

Knowing your past, I'd imagine your experienced enough to not be dangerous with the combination. That being said, what's up with the break from sobriety? Not only a break... but a BIG break.

Uhmm, well, for starters, I sincerely appreciate those who expressed their concerns. Obviously, I'm up and about this afternoon, so I'm doing fine.

The big break? Let's just say I've been going through a lot lately: I had surgery on my back the first week of March, and although the back surgery was successful in relieving the sciatic pain, I suffered some complications from the surgery which drove me to the E.R. one night, two CT scans, and this Tuesday morning- I'll be doing my third MRI since the surgery. I've had the absolute worst freakin' migraines for weeks- they were so bad that I can no longer hear out of my right ear.

So, last night, I decided I've been so good to myself for so long, and that I basically was tired of it all and decided I was going to get frat boy sh*t-faced and have a ball with some old friends and not worry about a thing. I was a bit concerned with all the medication I've been taking lately, but I just honestly didn't care. I'm all right now....I just needed last night to flush a lot of sh*t out of my system, if you know what I mean.

Besides, I have no hang-over 'cause the stuff they prescribed me for the migraines are working wonders for my hang-over.

Bought a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black today, the JWB spot on the liquor shelf has been empty for a while. I'ma have a nice pour of whisky for dessert in about 20 minutes, still sipping on the pinot noir I had with dinner.

ETA: Damn, that's some tasty whiskey.
