Okay, so rumor is they are trying to trade him now.

Obviously our #3 played very well. If Chase gets traded to a QB needy team for 2nd or 3rd, what are your thoughts on bringing RG3 in as our backup for a late round pick (6th, 7th)?

Is he salvageable, or did the Redskins ruin him?

RGIII excelled in Shanahan's hybrid offense. Problem is, in that kind of offense, he's going to take too many hits to stay in the league, and there's no evidence he is anything special in a traditional offense.

RGIII seems to be a likable enough guy, but his two head coaches in the NFL have had very strained relationships with the guy. Maybe it's Shanahan and Gruden, or maybe it's....not. Then there’s the circus atmosphere as all the social justice warriors in the media blow him out of proportion in hope he’s The Great Black Quarterback. (If you doubt that, where's the circus atmosphere around Andrew Luck?)

Snyder's an idiot. If he wanted to go all-in on RGIII, he should have hired Art Briles to run a college offense instead of Gruden. That may have worked.

I wouldn't trade for him but he would be an interesting project for Reid to work with as a #3 QB if Dorsey can sign him for cheap via FA. Likely would go to Chip Kelly though.

I'm intrigued. But my issue with RG is that he seems to be a self centered egomaniac that his teammates don't like. It would be intriguing to see what Reid could do with him.

I think the main issue is he's an owners pet. That there in lies the issue. That puts a division between the owner and GM, HC.

I don't know RG3 and have only watched from afar. Maybe a change of scenery would be good.
