More power to him.....get as much as you can. Not being able to get a contract done and trying it again in a year when you're 28 has the chance to screw him over. That's especially if that knee doesn't hold up or he has a down year.

It's a big gamble. But if he stays healthy and plays close to 2023, he'll probably get 3x$22M from someone.

If he does go that route it will speak volumes that he's confident in his knee.

Imagine if we paid Sneed and Chris Jones was on the Raiders right now. This place would be in shambles. Veach has played this offseason pretty well.

That's what a lot of us expected to happen (minus the Raiders part) and we were ok with it.

I made my peace that Jones was gone after last year's holdout. I'm happy he's back, but I wish we could keep Sneed too.

What if Titans have been working on a deal and Veach asking for Hopkins? Titans wanted to wait to make sure they got Ridley signed to replace Hopkins before a trade was done. Plus they would save almost $8M in cap this year by trading Hopkins. Thats close to what Ridley's cap hit for this year!!!

Maybe, probably close to that now. Could also be fighting if all 3 years are garaunteed or not. With the age and knee problems could see a team not wanting to fully garauntee a deal.

I don't see any team paying a what would be 29 year old CB 22 mil. a season...if he didn't get it this offseason, it ain't happening.

Of course, Sneed is another guy with a nobody for an agent. It's almost always the case when players are being a bit nonsensical

Just look at the Tyreek trade. Even though he's obviously a difficult agent to deal with, he's a pro.

In a year with an extra 30 mil of cap room I have no doubt someone would.

Problem is there's that AND the draft picks they have to give up.

Starting to wonder if the Chiefs have even discussed potential draft compensation yet with other teams. I'm assuming before they start hammering that out they get to talk a bit with Sneed and his agent to figure out if there's even a deal to be made.

The rumors changed quickly.

First it was a 2nd or 3rd rounder, then a ton of teams wanted him and someone might give a first, then the Colts were supposed to be all but done and just needed to hammer out contract details....now there's no interest?

Eh, this seems all over the place.
