What is your LEAST favorite fast food restaurant?

Simply Red's classic Hardees thread got me to thinking - where is everybody's least favorite fast food joint? Poll will be coming soon!

Here's a short write-up: http://www.popsci.com/science/articl...ting-junk-food

And the original article: https://mobile.nytimes.com/2013/02/2...junk-food.html

I don't think this is conspiracy theory, patt.

You should know better how the appestat works to monitor feelings of fullness—even with food. Research on the appestat shows how it monitors feelings of satiation or fullness. The powder just expands and makes you feel full like food is in there. You could fill up on a ton of vegetables with lots of fiber and likely accomplish the same feelings.

Which is ridiculous.

As splatbass already explained, food products for mass production are designed with priorities on price and ease of production. The production is as simple as possible. They don't pay mad scientists to employ secret methods of subconscious persuasion. Cheetos don't exactly melt in your mouth anyway.

If it's a conspiracy—then why is it so easily found out?

Some people label all actions that aren't above board as a "conspiracy theory, "simply to discredit the author, even when it's not. It's like using "racism" or "anti-semitism"—which are intended to shut down discussion. Another, mis-used and over-used word.

Note: I am not saying this point is true or false...just sayin'.

O.M.G! Marketing departments of food companies discover people like addictive substances of sugar, salt and fat. As if other companies don't make similar attempts. Such a crime that's a big secret.

And there's also a ton of people that don't like Subway. Still a bit surprised by that one.

Subway is the perfect place when you're in the mood for some bread with three nickel-sized pieces of chicken, with a mild slathering of sugary sauce.

Subway is my ultimate last-resort food option, just below trespassing into a field of potatoes and digging one up.
