Keep the spoilers in the other thread Clay.

All non spoiler stuff can go here. Fan art, standard discussion, etc...

EDIT

There's only been one trailer so far. The next is slated for May.

I read a Star Trek novel way WAY back in the day that I can't remember the name of (1701-D era) where a rogue Federation ship actually broke warp 10. Went looking for the title and couldn't find it, but stumbled across these nerd-tastic sites...

enterprise broke warp 10 in this episode:

http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Wher..._%28episode%29

Quote:
On the bridge, La Forge tells the captain they are passing warp 10, and Data later says that their velocity is off the scale. The Enterprise hurtles through space, with phenomena whizzing past at extremely high speed. Picard orders that they reverse engines (which Data comments on as having never been done at their current speed), and the Enterprise flashes out of warp. When asked for the ship's position, La Forge replies incredulously that they have traveled 2,700,000 light years.

They are now in the M-33 Galaxy, and at maximum warp it will take them over 300 years to get home

The Traveler episode? As in the guy who eventually helps Wesley ascend to a higher plane of being? Where is SNR when you need him.

(I did like that episode though. I think that's the one where they find the floating head of the old guy in space, iirc )

I saw the film as a 14 year old and didn't think twice about it until Luke was hanging from the bottom of the Bespin Cloud City.

Once it was revealed to be true in ROTJ, I think I threw up in my mouth.

What a freakin' oversight.
