Why do black people cross the street so slow?

I live in north Scottsdale/PV area which is not diverse. I am the first to admit I don't get inner city. On several recent occasions I've had to drive down town for business. Every time I have, including today, I've had to sit at a light waiting to turn because a black person deliberately walked as slow through the intersection as they could. Other people walked by them at a normal pace but they just sauntered. On one occasion the person looked at my car and actually slowed down even more.
What the hell? Am I imagining this or is this some kind of thing?

Just stick your leg out and do a locomotive with your arms and you'll be fine.

So you basically drape yourself over your dance partner and go limp like a blouse?

I use to have black roommates and this chick would come over and do one of my friend's hair. He would get his corn rows put in and then take it out like two days later because his scalp hurt.

He would do this every week as if one day it would just stop hurting or something.

Why did you choose cats? What's your problem with cats and why do you swing them around? Felinist

If it were factual, of course. As it appears now, the facts are pointing toward less slave involvement and more just every day Egyptian citizens.

I'm not going to act like those two situations are the same though. One is one of the first civilizations that we know of, the other is supposed to be the greatest this planet has ever seen in modern times.

Ancient Egyptians were one or two steps removed from hunter gatherer status. The world believing they used slaves to build an ancient wonder 4500 years ago does no more to tarnish their current reputation than the atrocities Genghis Khan committed to the Mongolians

On the other hand, the Civil Rights Movement was just 50 years ago.

yeah well I stopped being impressed about the male tolerance for pain once I realized none of you could have your eyebrows plucked.

Girls pat their heads to ease it.
Funny to watch. Funnier to watch people watch them do it.

My sister did the same thing.

I'm assuming this was back in the early 2000s? Iverson made corn rows the hot thing.

Actually, they say your hair grows faster while it's braided so it's kind of beneficial.

Yet some in Egypt are trying to saying it was ALL citizens and NO slaves.

You're completely discounting their nationalism. Of course a rational person isn't going to make a big deal out of them using slaves (or not) to build wonders of the ancient world.

Nationalism isn't rational, though.
