Royals DON'T buy WS tickets at current prices - Page 22

I have a few friends that deal in the secondary market professionally here in KC. (Not scalpers, technically. These guys have offices and pay taxes.) I've been told by, literally, all of them not to buy until at least Monday. All three that I've called about tickets have told me they have them, but that no one is buying at current prices...even on StubHub. They say that by game day they expect prices to drop dramatically. One even saying he expects SRO to fall to around $250 and then for prices to increase incrementally from there. He basically said people are throwing shit against the wall to see what sticks at this point, and that nothing is sticking.

Again, I went to HS with 2 of these guys, so them not trying to stiff me isn't a surprise...even though it's basically what they do for a secondary income.

If you have the scratch to buy now, go ahead I guess. But if you're on a budget, I wouldn't rule out going to a game just yet.

I have a feeling they have to let you in with your cell phone...I have a feeling thousands of fans are gonna not know that's a rule and I doubt they can just say, "welp! Sorry!"

If those $800 Royals side dugout box seats fall to something reasonable I'm going to be pissed for not blowing off work and driving down and snagging a last minute ticket.

Had to sweet talk an older white haired gentleman. Said as long as it goes to a true die hard royal fan he's happy. I was decked out in full royal attire w mascot hat and was naming off royals history to him. We still trying to get 2 more
