MJ is the best, and I'll give you another reason to have that opinion. Listen to all of the HOF players that have been referenced from that era. They all say the same thing. Guys like Magic, Bird, Barkley, etc. speak with reverence about MJ. I'm not sure if they've all actually said he's the best ever (I know some have), but they've all given him more respect than any other player I've heard spoken about in history.

Wade and Kobe match up extremely close as well.

sure in stats, but Pippen could guard 1 to 5 at an elite level on defense. Wade could never do that.

That's true but Wade was the better offensive player... it isn't even close in that department. Pippen's best season scoring wise was 22 ppg Wade was 30.2 ppg.. Big difference.

I said Lebron never played with a guy like Pippen. The only counter was Dwayne Wade, WHO IS NOT ANYTHING LIKE PIPPEN, so really Lebron still never played with a guy like Pippen. Wade was a slasher/elite offensive player who made a bunch of all stars and had 0 all defensive team awards. Pippen made 8 first team NBA defense. Has Lebron ever played with someone who made NBA All Defense First Team even ONCE in his career? Maybe Bosh? I don't even think he has one. MJ/Pippen would probably be like if Lebron and Kawhi Leonard (though he lacks the passer skills) or this seasons Draymond Green (first year he really put up Pippen-like stats.) teamed up and still they aren't as all around offense + elite defense as Pippen was. There is no current NBA player that could be Lebron's Pippen really. Jordan had an elite talent next to him for a long time. |

Lol. You all like stats, I like championships. That being said, Kobe's stats and list of accomplishments speak for themselves. I don't have to regurgitate them. MJ knows who was MJ after MJ, whether people wanted to embrace it or not.

Look at all of the elite players who never were able to win a ring because of Jordan: Barkley, Stockton, Malone, Miller, Payton, Kemp, Ewing and you could have probably added Olajuwon and Drexler to that list if he never retired. |
