Brees is great. Nobody's saying he isn't great. Seems like a good guy, too. You don't hear about him being **** to his family like Rodgers, nor is he a rapist like Rapistberger, or a sullen prick like Brady.

But we're talking MVP for 2018, not MVP for years and years and years. And Mahomes is simply better than him this year.

It’s all we got, man.

This team with THIS defense isn’t going on a Super Bowl run this year.

Pat is amazing, but not even HE can overcome butt**** Bob. (see Pats, Rams, Chargers, i.e. all playoff teams)

Plus it would be an all time meltdown because it'd be a young up-and-coming team rebuilt by Chris Ballard, who we let get away. Especially considering how horrific their offensive line and defense were... and now they're almost strengths. He should probably be a high contender for executive of the year. It would definitely be the most Chiefs way to go out.

Because a lot of times it does go to the highest octane QB with the best stats on a really good team, and most of the time those guys do not win the Super Bowl.

If I'm not mistaken, no QB who has led the league in passing yards has ever won a Super Bowl.

I hate them with every fiber of my being. 1995 was the worst loss I've ever experienced as a sports fan. I'm just objectively honest and this team has done nothing yet to prove to me we aren't going to flame out in the playoffs, so I'm way out ahead of the rest of ya'll in dealing with the pain now.

I actually think people shouldn't discount the Titans getting in. They host the Colts the last week of the season and if the Ravens lose this week they basically control their own destiny more than anyone because they have two home games.

Patrick Mahomes is on pace for the 2nd best season ever. He's probably going to have 50 td passes in his 1st year as a starter. It took Brady like 7 or 8 years to do it and Manning like 15 years to do it. If Mahomes stays on pace he will have a better season than Brees has ever had. Brees has never had a season as good as Mahomes will more than likely have. Brees has only had 2 seasons of 40+ td passes and 5000+ yards. So no it's not "literally what we're talking about with Brees". Not even close.

I actually don't think the Brady or Manning comparisons are really relevant. It was a different league then... the only reason the way the league is the way it is today is because of those two guys complaining to the the point that they neutered pass defense. They basically opened the door for Brees and Rodgers and Mahomes to light it up the way they have.
