There's also a huge difference between stealing signs and a pitcher tipping his pitches. They got to David Price because he was tipping his pitches. Did they figure out something about deGrom? Maybe they did, but that's not cheating. Our scouts and coaches are top shelf at figuring out when the other team is telegraphing something.

The Mets fan who responded to someone saying that Hosmer looked like a villain in a pirate movie with "he looks more like a fa*got in a fa*got movie" seems nice....

I also read something where one of those douche****s accused us of being "Bandwagon Fans".

One of my friends called from Manhattan about 20 minutes before Game 1 to discuss the Royals and Mets, the strengths and weaknesses and what to expect from each team. He was heading to a friend's restaurant where he had the back room entirely to himself and they'd serve dinner and drinks to him, alone.

The reason for this is because he didn't want to watch it at his apartment, alone, and wanted to be around people, but couldn't stand being around all these "new" Mets fans that knew absolutely nothing about the game of baseball.

Dummies.

DeGrom and Dark Knight didn't strike out a combined 25 batters, so we are cheating.

Yeah, they have a few mouth breathers. I'm kind of surprised nobody calls it out. Although to be fair, the heavy use of "rape" on our board probably seems odd to newcomers.

Personally, I expect the Mets to win Friday night. Two epic games in KC, one easy, one not so easy, a travel day and a park in which they haven't played since 2013, with the Royals winning 6-2.

If the Royals do beat Syndergaard Friday night, it's all but over.
People still don't get it...this team hits flame throwing, fastballers. We hit Harvey and DeGrom. DeGrom is actually lucky we didn't bash him out of the park by the 3rd.

Look at the pitchers that gave Royals fits this playoff year:

Keuchel
Price
Estrada

3 Guys who throw nasty, taint balls and locate. Not 98mph fastballs with the occasional slider.

The Royals would have a harder time hitting Chris Young than Jacob DeGrom. Might we lose to Syndergaard? We might. But I think if we do it might be more because of Ventura than Thor....

The wringing of their hands over sign stealing, strike zone, pine tar, hating our players faces, being luckier than shit, etc, etc, leads me to believe 1 thing for sure.

ROYALS UP 2-0

PISS OFF, METS!

I think it could be due to the bats. They just put up 7 last night after going 14 the night before. It's the World Series in an opposing team's stadium with a fired up crowd and a very good pitcher.

All I'm saying is that it shouldn't surprise anyone but if the Royals do win, this series is all but over.

But in all honesty, a big part of me would like to see the Royals close it out at the K.

I have game 6 tickets.....selfishly, that would be awesome for me. That said, if the Royals want to party in Gotham after taking it in 4 or 5, I'm good with that as well

Give me a sweep, personally. Would be nice to just dominate a series.

Yeah get it over with in NY. Everyone and their mother will see it, everyone will be at the parade, everyone in KC will feel the win without having to spend money to do it. Just finish them off. I have confidence in Game 6 if Cueto is throwing at home, and Ventura in 7 if it came to that, but just get it over with if you can.
