Knicks are even bigger joke than the Lakers right now. Losing out on Greg Monroe to the Bucks.

What? So a player shouldn't be able to do what they want? If they don't need/want more money and care more about going to a winning team and winning a title, they should be able to do it. If they want all the money in the world and don't really care about winning, ie Carmelo, they should be able to do it also. Not every player is going to want to play for the absolute max.

But hey, let's just get Chris Paul / LeBron James / Kevin Durant / Anthony Davis / and hell, Steph Curry for good measure. Sounds fair! Play for what you're worth, stop building 5 teams that are great and 20 teams that are miserable. It's ****ing awful. |

The hootie monster emerges. The Spurs aren't a super team. They have a system that maximizes guys that would be minimal contributors on other teams. This would be a valid argument against the Miami teams with LeBron but it's completely off-base with the Spurs. |

Nah, LAL started the trend, followed by Boston, carried on by Miami, transferred to Cleveland, now going to the Spurs

I didn't say you were, but it's a ridiculous argument against them.
Their superstars were all developed in house (Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, and now Kawhi). They've never went out and tried to create a super team by bringing guys in. |

I might give you Boston, but those guys were nearing the end of their prime so I don't really have a problem with that. |
