Traylor was awful...careless passing all game. Mason was his usually mouthy self & got T'd up for it. Ellis was passive as usual....Greene and Seldon were the only bright spots. This is one frustrating team to watch.

Have never known Mason to be mouthy (at least any more than anybody else). I thought that was a pretty silly technical to be called when most of these guys are talking shit all game long.

He and Traylor both pout & run their mouths all game (alternates between pouting & shit-talking, depending on success/failure of possession). Seldon gets into the pouting act every once in a while, but lately his game has been up, so I see less of it.

Asking this out of curiosity, not trolling: What's the deal with the freshmen we heard so much about at the beginning of the year (Alexander, Oubre, Scrabble guy who can shoot lights out)? Are they just not playing defense well and Self isn't letting them play? Or is he trying to keep Alexander and Oubre around another year by not giving them minutes?

Nobody knows. Self is a stubborn coach. The media was talking about it after the game. Not really questioning him but wondering why they're not getting minutes in close games with adversity. They mentioned being ready for March as well.
