Geno Smith vs Alex Smith - It's on.

It's on now. Geno Smith is probably going to be starting for the Jets this season.

Alex Smith will be the Chiefs QB for the forseeable future. If he's a success, we'll probably get five good years out of him.

So who's gonna win more NFL games over that time period?

Put your ten pounders on the table and make a vote

Alex: 11 wins
Geno: 8 wins

Clay let me do you you a favor, and wash that choco penii out of your mouth.

Geno is to a cup of water what Cassel is to a baseball cap.
Spoiler!

I understand you want to develop a QB with a big arm and the nuts to throw it down field

You wanna see an arm?
Spoiler!

But tribe, you ask: Does he move well? Throw well on the run?

Interesting. I'd wager that Clayton has spent more time and energy as a chiefs fan than you have. Creating your own .gifs isn't exactly immediate.

Additionally, is there some sort of rubric or guideline as to what passes as a "Chiefs fan"? I'd love to see it if it exists.

I think Clay is just jaded, and bitter, and fed up with being let down by the Chiefs. Cant blame him really.

And he also loves to be a controversial Heel who has learned the art of the pot stir from Whitlock

I would say rooting for Dallas to come in here and beat us in Arrowhead in our home opener would be pretty close.

Again, is there an official rubric or guideline?

What if I root for Allen Bailey to be replaced by Catapano or Smith by Bray? Does that make me less of a fan?

FTR I never said Clay is not a Chiefs fan. I know better. This is really all in fun.
Clay has always been one of my favorite members.
Dude makes contributions that CP wouldnt be the same without.

But he needs his ass kicked in this war. He declared it, fueled it, promoted it, and has yet to admit he might be wrong about Geno.
I will tell you right now, Geno might put a crow suit on his chocco penii, and make me eat it. I know you cant project a career after 2 starts. Its just not possible.

Now, Im honestly surprised that you would compare pulling for our backups to improve enough to supplant the incumbents, to wishing failure on our team, and actively rooting against them in favor of the ****ing Cowboys.

The God of Mischief is rather mischievous.

I really thought that my poll today would have cleared that up.

Doesn't that kind of even things out then? In your scenario they both have strikes against them. Doesn't that even the playing field so to speak?

You are a very smart guy Sorter. Wishing that an upgrade to your own personnel is never an issue. I never looked at a 49er fan as a reerun for wanting Alex Smith to be upgraded over.

But if a 49er fan had said to me, Gee, I hope the Dallas Cowboys come in and shit down our necks, I would lose my ****ing mind.

Those aren't even relevant to be considered RUBRIC's.

Sure, the guildline is to support your team. If there is a body inside a jersey that has a chiefs logo on it. Support him.

Don't support the rat bastards with the stars on theirs

Then you can't ignore just how horrible the bad throws were.

None of this matters, though. Geno's fate was sealed the second the Jets drafted him.

Can you imagine what would have happened if he were drafted by a stable franchise with a good QB coach and an established veteran he could have learned behind, but not so entrenched he couldn't be replaced in a couple years?

Gee, I wonder what team fits that description...

Oh well. I have just as much hope for Bray as I did for Geno. I'm fine with it.
