We played a good game until we missed that field goal. The trend with this team is that they don't handle adversity well. It always goes this way. I have touched on it before but we cannot fall behind. We just can't come back. I thought Cassel played a good game except for two passes. The pick he threw across the field and the one that Samuel dropped on the sideline. The rest wasn't bad and the first half was one of his best ever imo.

The scariest thing in that loss was that Daboll absolutely got owned by Nolan. His halftime adjustments just schooled our offense.

I thought Romeo didn't blitz enough. DJ had a bad game. Eachus is worthless. If the plan is to keep him at FB it's just reeruned. He can't block anyone. Especially when pass blocking. Why play Droughn at all?

It might hvae been different if we weren't missing four starters but, we gotta handle adversity better. It's the small things that pile up. A missed FG on the first drive after the half, Albert gives up a huge sack w/ FF on the most important drive of the game. Oh well, maybe next week...

Keeping up in a shoot out until the wheels fall off isn't playing a good game. Up until the missed FG Atlanta had still scored on every possession.

Yep, it was a bit of a reality check. However, I do think that Atlanta could potentially be the best offense in the league this year. I have them losing to the Ravens in the Superbowl. Also, we were missing four starters back there. It might not be as bad as it looked in a few weeks.

Perfect storm. Arguably the best offense we will play all year passing wise and we are missing our 2 best defenders.

NO has given up 40 points to a rookie QB. Shit happens. Next week we should be much better on defense and if we aren't then I will hit the panic button.

Actually one positive. Last year, we tended to get gashed against the run. Dline played the run pretty damn good today against a pretty good team. We were awful against the pass today, without our best pass rusher, best cover corner, best center fielder and a sub pass rusher.
