Tony Romo rumor

Gotta ask what do you guys think? There are strong rumors we are interested. I would love it if we got AJ MCCaron from Bengals.

What do you guys think

In EVERY YEAR Romo has started at least 13 games, he has had at least 26 touchdown passes (Alex's career high is 23) and holds an average of 30.3td passes in years he started at least 13 games.

Since 2009, Romo has only had 1 year where he threw more than 10 picks, as well.

His back has had a full year to heal.

The Chiefs would have a really good chance at winning a Super Bowl with a healthy Romo.

Damn near spit my coffee out. Watch football kid.

They said the same thing about Manning. They say the same thing about countless others. Simple truth is, that can be any player on any down.

He'd be joining a MUCH better overall team than his previous healthy years. We just won 12 with a pop gun QB

Omg you don't know shit about our offense (WCO) which requires you have a quick release and can challenge a defense deeep....

He's always had a good OLine and a good rushing attack most years. He also went from having one of the 3 best WRs in the league to Dez Bryan. It's not like he's been without help.

Also look at his playoff numbers. Basically the same or even worse than Alex Smiths. Expecting him to take us to the Superbowl is a recipe for disappointment.

I wouldn't mind us picking him up over Alex but my expectations for the team would be about the same especially when you bring health factors in.

Romo is 2-4 in the playoffs... 2 home wins, 3 road losses and a home loss.

Nothing really special with Romo, he's a lot like Rivers.

Smith is also 2-4 in the playoffs, 1-3 in KC.

Maybe the offense would be a bit prettier with Romo, he's riskier... just don't see that paying off. Never has in Dallas.

I don't thi k romo has ever played on a good team in dallas. For a while he seemed to be forced to go put up big numbers because the defense was awful.

With the chiefs defense and coaching staff, if he can stay healthy, I think he'd be a good fit.

The loss in Green Bay on the INC call to Dez Bryant could have been a win.

I think I would rather have a rookie QB learning the ropes from Romo than from Smith any day of the week.

It takes a star player to get breaks.

Romo, at the very least, has big name recognition.

Romo is no different than Alex Smith except Alex can stay on the field while Romo is always hurt.

I could be wrong, but I don't ever recall watching Romo and Smith play and thinking "there is no difference between these two QB's".
