Free Agency starts today. I'm probably the worst candidate to keep up an OP with player movement and the like, but figured it would be cool to have a repository for all things NHL leading up to next season.

Anaheim acquires Kesler from Canucks for Bonino, Sbisa, and picks.

-Dallas acquires Spezza from Montreal for Chiasson, others, and a 2nd round pick.
-Avs acquire Briere for Parenteau and a late pick.
-Predators acquire James Neal for Spaling and Hornqvist.
-Marian Gaborik re-signs with Kings.
-Ryan Miller to Canucks via UFA.
-Paul Stastny to the Blues via UFA.
-Jarome Iginla to the Avs via UFA.
-Dan Boyle to the NYR.
-Brad Richards to the Blackhawks.
-Vanek to the Minnesota Wild.
-Robidas to the Maple Leafs.
-Niskanen to the Caps via UFA.

Feel free to add other moves and I'll do my best to update.

I guess there is that silver lining, but from what I've read from other Blues' fans was that Backes sucked, Oshie was a ghost, Michalek was slow, and Tarasenko wasn't really a factor.

Sounds a bit like last year...

I'm sorry, but Winnipeg is not better than us. I expected that game to go exactly how it went. Andersen looked shaky at first but settled in - well he was forced too.

I'm not surprised that the Wild took it to the Blues. I don't think the Blues survive that series to be honest.

In regards to tonight's games - I want to see if the Sens target Subban or let it go for now. They are down 1-0.

I'm also curious to see if the Isles can keep up the energy - they looked like the Isles from earlier in the year. Halak looked good too.

Ducks looked good last night. Got a tough 8 draw with the Jets. Wish the Pens would get healthy.

It could have easily been 4-1 Winnipeg last night in the second period if not for that post by Wheeler and Thorburn missing the empty net and shooting it right at Anderson. Then the stupid penalties started to happen and the Ducks powerplay won them the game.

Granted, I waited until it's 5-2 to say anything... I understand why people would think the Preds didn't really stand a chance after game one... er, 6-2... but, I happened to watch them quite a bit this season and don't think they've very far off from being a pretty dangerous playoff team. Maybe just a little more offense and depth... granted, they're showing some of both tonight.

Cool to see Forsberg become a force, too... watched him in the World Juniors and have picked him up in my past couple of NHL franchises.

Also could have been 3-1 Ducks in the first with both Kesler & Beleskey with point blank shots that were deflected last second.

I'm not saying Winnipeg isn't good, they're big, they can skate but I just think the talent is a bit off.
