Hanging Out In Your Driveway/Garage

We have some new neighbors. To be blunt, they don't exactly fit in to our neighborhood. The are displaying some anomalous behavior, such as sitting in lawn chairs just inside their garage. Why would they want to do that? They have a backyard, and a rather nice deck and lawn upon which to place said lawn chairs. What's so fascinating about the front? Don't they want some privacy?

Yesterday, these people inflated some kind of pool thing, filled it with water and all got inside of the pool. Again, on the driveway. Why?

Also, at present count, there are four people living in the home. Yet, they have six vehicles. Why?

So it would seem. I didn't see this, but the wife apparently did.

At least they do their own yard, instead of hiring illegals to do it.

I would assume it was a weed eater that she heard, one would have to be extremely skilled to edge a driveway with a chainsaw.

I'm starting to think it's the neighbors that are more in touch with reality here. I'd put all my casino cash on this being a weedeater/edger.

Not really, as long as you don't mind destroying the blade. I have an old electric POS chainsaw in my shed, I may just have to try it...

Nevermind the chain being dull the second it hit the dirt, having it bounce off the concrete would not allow for a clean edge.

Yeah you'd pretty much be writing the chain off completely, not just dulling it. At least for any potential future cutting of wood. But I think as long as you stayed just outside the edge of the concrete it would do the job. I'll have to get back to you on how well it works.

Good grief man, if you actually decide to try it, please put some chaps on.

Electric chainsaws are pretty wimpy, I don't think it'll pose that much of a safety threat.

Coming from someone who was glad to be wearing chaps when he knicked his leg, no chainsaw is without danger.

My neighbors hang out in their garage (with the door open) all the time. They have chairs/barstools and a tv out there.

Did I already mention that here? If I did, ignore me.

Update: These people have outdone themselves. They put down laminate flooring in their garage. Laminate flooring.
