You can cut Sorensen post-1 and get like $4 mil. You can restructure guys. Bailey can be cut for $6 mil. Just option are there to make it happen. I don’t see it. Although Terez isn’t breaking news if it’s not 100% fact. He won’t just post rumors to post them.

Good call. Sherman's deal is reportedly a one year, but I don't know about Jenkins yet. Either way, can't see either of those guys carrying any kind of astronomical cap number.

While I'd like to see Sorensen cut or his contract restructured, I don't think the Chiefs can cut Bailey because they're already thin on the D line.

Maybe a two year restructure for Bailey.

FTR, the Chiefs gave DAT a $90k signing bonus as well.

I want to get this out of the way right now, the draft doesn't cost 4 to 5 mil against the cap. Yes that is the total cost, but it isn't the new cap hit. You have to figure in the current bottom contracts falling off. See the picture below. pic.twitter.com/y7T6ChEg2R

so if he has say '6' clubs interested - what's the lead-time (historically) for said player to sign - say he vetts all 6 prior to a decision - what? maybe 8 or 9 days??? So it'll be about a week and half before we know? I'm just reaching for ANYthing.... And I'm like an impatient kid who's parent is rationing the cotton candy at the fair.

In base salary, or cap hit? Mahomes accounted for the vast majority of that, too. And we ain't picking in the top 10.
