From what I have read it is only one sided.. Whedon will use the movies in the shows, but the movies will not make the shows canon..

I mean the show already has killed off a big Inhuman character.

Liked it very much, but didn't LOVE it. Spidey and Panther were very well done and were the better parts of the show. Way, WAY better than BvS, even if it was flawed.

Marisa Tomei is still hot as balls.

Sunday’s business turned out to be more female and family driven than expected, shaving some muscle off the opening of Disney/Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, but keeping the threequel tough enough for the fifth best domestic opening all-time with $178M, ahead of Iron Man 3‘s $174.1M. “Still sensational,” exclaimed a non-Disney distribution chief.

Yup.

I would say better than Age of Ultron but not as good as Winter Soldier.

Actually it seemed like a combination of the two: 1/2 character driven story and half comix-nerd-action-fest.

At times, and by at times I mean basically the entire movie, it seemed less about the registration act and more about Cap saving Bucky's ass.

  1. Ross talking about Avengers not knowing where Hulk was when he'd lost him in the past, himself, and should know better
  2. Avengers stuck with blame for collateral damage, while preventing biological agent from being stolen by men clearly willing to kill (using significant firepower that does major damage to a building, firing in crowded streets, etc...) is basically ignored
  3. D.C. damage blamed on Avengers, ignoring the fact that it had to be done (and saved hundreds of thousands/millions of lives) because of Hydra taking over S.H.I.E.L.D., which was not the Avengers
  4. Stark willing to shackle everyone else when the Sokovia issues were the fault of his character flaws, not theirs
  5. Accords would be useless against the likes of Hulk, who was highlighted as part of the reasons for the accords
  6. Hypocrisy of the King and prince/kind of Wakanda being all for accord, but not willing to get out in front of it and put Black Panther on the list and under U.N. control, thus making Black Panther the very same type of superhero the accord is designed to fight against
  7. Needless, and foolish, imprisonment of Scarlet Witch
  8. Captain America & co. getting arrested for preventing a kill squad ("We have orders to shoot on sight") from taking out Barnes
  9. Stark surviving attack from Bucky when he didn't have his suit on
  10. Stark conveniently knowing so much about Spiderman (I get the need for this one, but it's still annoying)
  11. "They killed my father/You killed my father (and mother)/He killed my father/You killed my father trying to get revenge for them killing your father" plotting was not as bad as "Martha", but was pretty bad
  12. Vision/Ironman side essentially making sure Vision's predictions would come true by taking actions, consciously or unconsciously, to ensure it
  13. I could list some others, but that's a pretty good start

Some of it's nitpicking, but some of it's important, IMO.

I think people's complaints about the movie are hilarious: ie Marisa Tomei is too young, the Sharon Carter romance between her and Steve Rogers was forced, just dumb nitpicky shit.

You bet your ass if a hot chick grabs my gear from the government and delivers it right to me knowing what kind of shit it'll get her into, I'm doing a whole lot more than just kissing her.

Great movie, fun, breezed along nicely. Yes they padded it in some spots, but it was nice exposition. I still think, and yes I know it's civil war, that this movie had one too many characters in it. They handled it better than any other comic movie with the same issue, but it's still just too much imo.

I mean did we really need Hawkeye to say his few quips and not have much of a role what so ever? Did we need War Machine in this movie, I personally really didn't care when he got hit, I was more thinking, great now onto Cap vs Tony. You could've easily given those characters time to Iron Man, Black Panther, Spiderman, or anyone else for that matter. That's my only gripe with the movie.

I'm a huge Spidey fan, they did him really well, he was very organic and not just another run of the mill Spiderman story.
