Tied at 24th and now tied for 10th all in 7 years. And we’re headed for top 5

Nothing is close to this. Best franchise in the Division. It’s really obvious too.
I won't argue with the fact that the Chiefs are the best franchise in the division, but the Raiders had a stretch that was close to our current one. They won the AFL West/AFC West 9 times in 10 years from 1967-1976. They only won a single Super Bowl in that stretch, but still an impressive run.

Yeah, I think that stretch is a big part of why the old guys hate the Raiders worse than the Broncos.

Yep. I'm one of those old guys except that I don't hate the Raiders quite as much as I used to hate them.

20 years of living in an NFL post-apocalyptic reality will do that to a team.

Seeing what we've done since Andy has been here really makes what the Chiefs did in the 70's and 80's seem completely unachievable. We should have won a couple of AFC West titles randomly in that period. The Chiefs were so awful then.

The Michael Jordan comparisons just get clearer and clearer, don't they?

The Chicago Bulls did absolutely nothing prior to Jordan. There's barely any record of them existing.

We at least won a Super Bowl in the 60s. And we were competent for the entirety of the 90s and early aughts.

But we are now in the Jordan era of the Chiefs, and will be for another decade.

These are the good days, fellas.

I want to see an updated chart for just the last 7 years.

I'll go ahead and do the AFCW since I'm most familiar with it.

KC Chiefs 7
LAC 0
LV Raiders 0
Denver Broncos 0

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Not even that can take me back to the level of hatred I used to have for the Raiders. Those of us who are older remember how the Raiders got away with so much on the field. It was literally infuriating. I hated them with a white-hot intensity that can't be maintained for 40-50 years without causing other problems. Kicking the crap out of them for most of the 90s and their decline into irrelevance since 2002 or so has done a lot to tamp it down.

Did you refuse to play Madden football because of John Madden?
