Professor's 'penis size' research project seeks 3,600+ explicit photos

The assistant professor of sociology at Missouri State University launched a study this month that explores how the size of a man's penis affects the rest of his life. And she's documenting the work with pictures.

The kind of work I do is not for everybody," she said.

Walker said the project looks at how penis size — and, as importantly, a man's perception of his penis size — affects overall health, sexual activity, condom usage, self image, social interaction and mental health.

"So far I'm hearing a lot of anxiety and a lot of low self-esteem related to size," she said.

On a more serious note, I've got to think that she'll have a big selection bias. Guys who are more endowed will be more likely to participate. She should pursue a smaller sample and pay them a big incentive to get as random a sample as possible.

They have already did a scientific study, a real one, of 15K penis's.

The average flaccid penis was found to be 9.16 cm (3.61 inches) long, whereas the average erect penis is 13.12 cm (5.16 inches) in length. In terms of girth, the average circumference of a flaccid penis turned out to be 9.31 cm (3.66 inches), and 11.66 cm (4.59 inches) for an erect one. Furthermore, those at extreme ends of the spectrum were found to be much less common. For example, only 5 men out of every 100 have an erect penis longer than 16 cm (6.3 inches).
