Been on Google Fiber for a couple of years and get the same as you (~970-980 up/down). I find that I only get those kinds of speeds test to Google, but that's hardly a surprise. Real life experience how that my Telework experience didn't change, nor did anything like streaming using my Firestick, or streaming YouTube, get any better than what I had on TimeWarner's 30Mbps symmetrical service.

Used to know my speed, but dont care enough to remember what it is

All I know is that its usually found wanting when going into the epic fail/win/nope threads... those autoplay clips **** me over every single time, gotta wait what seems like 30 minutes for those to load in properly or they freeze everything up

I live in the 90s here in NW Indiana. $100 plus a month for slow 40 mbps internet. No cable available. Fiber?? What’s that?? Will it makes us have to poop?? 🤬. DSL only thing available and they treat it like witchcraft

Im paying $69/month for 4 ****ing MBS. They called me last month and said they could upgrade me to 100MBS for $20 additional , so I said yeah lets do it because 4 sucks. So the technician came to the house and said they can't do it because I'm more than 900 feet from their office.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's so slow it took me 20 minutes to write this post!!!!!!
