IMO Brad Childress was in KC to find a QB to draft. "Spread game analyst" for me always meant "watching spread QBs in college to find one who will translate to the pros." He did his job. He bridged the gap between Mahomes from Tech and Mahomes in the pros. Mahomes is going to take over now, Childress' job is done.

It doesn't matter who is QBs coach and who is OC. Andy Reid handpicked his star QB, and he will be the one working with him.

Frankly, I don't care if Andy calls plays or not, provided that the only one actually communicating with Mahomes is the one calling plays. This dumb**** game of telephone where Andy calls them, then the OC relays them, then Mahomes relays again is detrimental to the offense. There's no time for pre-snap reads because the whole play clock is spent just getting the verbiage out.
