I think he can learn and grow leaps and bounds if he has game time in his pocket going into the offseason so the coaches have that much to work with him with and so he can learn from rookie mistakes.

No. He has worlds of talent, but he is obviously very raw and needs a year of coaching on playing the QB position in the NFL.

Andy and Clark's aspirations for another playoff one and done should not press him into the job before he is ready.

The path is very clear that the baton is passed after this season when Smith makes his exit. Stay on the script.

The most important thing is how cool and comfortable he is under pressure. You can't teach that. His footwork needs cleaned up though.

He doesn't look at the pass rush. He feels it while keeping his eyes up. I think that's the number one thing I look for theee days in Qb prospects. It's awesome to see.
