Drafting Bolles was smart. Would you rather pay $13M per year for an injury prone guy like Russell Okung, or pay Bolles $4M per year? Bolles isn't a squeaky clean prospect, but he was hands down the most talented LT in the draft. Had Bolles been 22 years old he'd have been a top 5 pick.

Charles is a low risk/high reward signing.

And what's the rush to get Lynch in the game? Siemian played very well for a 7th round pick who was essentially a rookie. Why not let them duke it out for the next couple years?
. Bolles was never going to be a top 5 pick...no matter what his age was. You got the best OT in a shitty OT draft. Congrats. You reached on a need.

What's the rush? If Mahomes isn't starting next year...,you'll be calling him a bust. But Lynch can afford to sit a couple of years?

Bolles went about where he should've. Most people believe that if Denver passed on him, Seattle would've taken him just 5 picks later.

Everybody knew going into it that Lynch wasn't going to be ready day one. Once it becomes apparent that Siemian has gotten as good as he's gonna get, that's when Lynch needs to be playing. Until then, I'm 100% fine with Lynch sitting as long as he needs to.

I wouldn't call Mahomes a bust if he isn't starting next year, he's probably a bigger project than Lynch was coming out. But KC needs Mahomes to progress quicker than Lynch has in Denver. Alex has taken the Chiefs as far as he can take them and he makes too much money to keep around much longer.

Why do you care? It's all fake anyway plus you quit watching the NFL.

C+ sounds about right for us which is fine.

The Chiefs didn't do that much to improve for 2017. They signed a better run defender to replace Poe but didn't draft any starters including Mahomes who wasn't drafted to improve this year.

The Chiefs have won 11 straight divisional games. They clearly have the best roster and coaching in the division until proven otherwise. They didn't have to bring in a bunch of new talent like Denver.
Denver is a very old team relying on old FA's like Charles to make in impact for them bc they haven't drafted well.

It's obvious to anyone and everyone that they are now the least talented team in the division.

Watching Elway's cheating ass being exposed is priceless...4th place.

Two (25-32) 1st round picks and a high third doesn't sound like the #1 overall in value...this writer was a Donk hump.

Eric Berry and Duvernay-Tardif raped us sans lube. If Mahomes turns out to be a franchise QB then almost any price is worth it. Our offseason grade will depend on how good Mahomes turns out to be.

Getting Mahomes II gives this an A grade but that it's early to give grades.

We have opportunity to become the most dominant team in the AFC West for a decade and have Super Bowl prowess during this time.

It's total conviction by the GM Coach and owner so they believe in Patrick Mahomes II and so do I. We have a Franchise Quarterback in the making with Patrick Mahomes II that is more than we have had in long time and with Alex Smith we are a one and done team anyways.

Lol at the idea that Mahomes would be there at #27.

Oh, and we have 3 starting cornerbacks: Peters, Mitchell, and Nelson. They are the starters until somebody unseats one of them. Cornerback is figured out. All of our options are good ones.

You do realize that both Bolles and Charles are unable to read the playbook. And Lynch can't comprehend it. Right ?

What? 3-4 of the players we drafted will be getting significant snaps by the end of the year, I have no doubt.

LDT did not actually. That was the perception when he signed, but guards got quite a premium this year in free agency. It ends up being a pretty good contract really.

It's so funny that you keep pushing this lie when everybody knows that 2PM is already far ahead of Lynch mentally.

Then the bar is set incredibly low.

Any football writer that thinks the Chiefs "lost" or "made a mistake" or that it "Went Wrong" by trading a 1 and a 3 for a guy they believe will be a Franchise QB, is complete and utter moron.

I've seen other writers say it was a "reach" and the Chiefs should have waited to select someone at 27 and they're ****ing morons as well.
