In short, if McShay is anywhere close to right, the Chiefs would have a zero percent chance of getting any of those 3. Zero. Offer them 3 firsts and 2 seconds and you probably can't get there. And your prize for doing so? Getting to 2 so you can take a couple of players who aren't appreciably better bets than Mahomes to actually succeed (oh, and you'll wait another year to find out). Because nobody's moving out of 1.1 regardless of cost if Darnold is as expected and declares, especially not all the way into the 20s.

The "wait for the '18" class crowd was just reeruned.

My exact thoughts.

We aren't getting any of the big QB's in next year's draft.

Maybe these guys are starting to get the hint that teams believe QBs are worth reaching for. I laughed every time I heard some douche say there was only going to be 1 QB in R1.
