Tony G leaving CBS

I searched and didn't see it. Tony Gonzalez has decided to leave CBS network and his job on The NFL Today to stay closer to LA and his family. Here's his statement

“I have had an incredible and rewarding three years at CBS and wish it could be more, but traveling to New York each week during the season is not what is best for my family at this time,” Gonzalez said in a statement provided by CBS Sports. “While I hope to remain in broadcasting I will look to do so in the L.A. area. I can’t thank CBS enough for their support.”

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I'm to the point now that I don't even watch the pregame shows anymore. Coverage is pretty much Patriots..... Cowboys..... Steelers..... some lame ass human interest story about a player on a team I don't care about..... more Patriots..... insider talks about other teams.... throw in some unfunny comedy bit. Brought to you by shitty light beer, viagra and cars I don't want to drive.

Just an extra hour to sleep in.

I hope he goes into politics.

Although I imagine he will never have a job that pays so much for doing so little again.

I pretty much watch the Chiefs game, and that's it. Nothing else before or after.

Same here. I don't need pre-or-post game reviews. Those are for fair weather novice fans to be entertained.

I thought Tony did a decent job. But I think he was brought on board more or less as eye candy for the female viewers.

He was my favorite player for a very long time. After he left KC, I found an interest in first person porn. Talk about luck with my username!!!
