Any reason why we wouldn't trade 2 firsts for Kirk Cousins? 810 was pitching the idea, and it makes sense.

why we would do that? Did you watch him in that playoff game? They only scored 10 points and he stunk? You and others would have crucified him and railroaded him out of town the next day.

Yeah, a 37 year old qb who's never won anything. That's the fix for sure.

It would likely involve trading Alex to another team (Jets maybe)?

Cousins wants more than $20 million a season. You aren't getting that by just getting rid of Alex and Foles.

The best move would be go ahead and let the 49ers trade for him since they are so hot and heavy for him. Then when they are done with him we will trade with the 49ers. That's the only way to keep the retread 49er QB pipeline going.

Would any team trade two 1sts when they are also going to have to pay such a big contract?

Two late firsts don't seem like the end of the world when you are drafting at the bottom. The next question is money. Hypothetically if you could dump smith(via trade)and foles, alongside the salary cap increase, this team is pretty close to taking that next step with a QB who is productive at the NFL level.
