Jerry Sandusky's son Jeffrey charged with child sexual abuse

BELLEFONTE, Pa. -- One of Jerry Sandusky's adult sons faces multiple charges of sexual offenses involving children, more than five years after the former Penn State assistant coach was himself first arrested.

Court records filed Monday say 41-year-old Jeffrey S. Sandusky was charged with 14 counts, including criminal solicitation and corruption of minors.

The online court docket says Jeffrey Sandusky was arraigned Monday and bail was set at $200,000. He's currently in the Centre County Correctional Facility.

Jeffrey Sandusky's lawyer didn't immediately return a phone message. The district attorney's office says it is about to release a statement.

WTAJ-TV says state police accuse him of sending inappropriate texts to a victim and asking for naked photos.

Jerry Sandusky is serving a lengthy prison sentence for sexual abuse of 10 boys.

One could argue that it's people trying to recover their own balance in a weird way, but I tend to think it's just what they know. We all engage in behaviors that we learned from our parents, whether we like them or not, just because that's what we learned to be "normal".

Yes, it's a crime. Yes, if he's guilty, he needs to serve his punishment. Many years of jail time.

But is that it? Did he actually molest kids like his dad did? To me, child molestation is as heinous of a crime that there is outside of murder. Sexually harassing children is also bad, but it's not exactly molestation.

Yeah I'm not one to stick up for pedos, but this could be a lot less heinous than what his dad did. Like if it was a 16 year old girl pretending to be older, etc.

The guys 41. You should be able to tell who's under 18. He knew what he was doing. While I agree it's nowhere close to his fathers crime, I'm still glad he got caught. Anyone who even treads close to that water is very diseased and should be on a close watch.
