It's not hard to conceive that there could be a sports league that is worldwide one day. But something would need to change, because there's not enough time in 7 days to travel internationally and prepare.

It would be the sloppy garbage football on Thursday night games ramped up even further

Yes. He is invested in Sporting Kansas City. I have no doubt that is what he cares most about is winning soccer championships.

That doesn't make sense, as he is owner of FC Dallas.

You guys should invite Clark to a CP Tailgate party next year. Maybe he'll stop by for a beer and some chicken wings!

So I guess the new Euro division will be adding games for Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Saturday morning further diluting the product.

I'm pretty sure Clark is invested in Sporting Kansas City Soccer and I think he cares more about soccer than football.

That's not a Lamar Hunt trophy in his hands nor is it the coveted Lombardy trophy either.

I'm Ok with being wrong.

I just think it sucks it's taking this long so it's easy to assume other reasoning's behind what appears to be lack of caring of his Daddy's team.

I know you are right his Daddy stop caring after his second Super Bowl appearance with his first and only win of the Super Bowl. His dad just let Carl Peterson take over the reins and went away.

Clark is doing the same thing with Dorsey/Reid. Peterson/Schottenheimer

They just need to take my advice on this. When a team has a Thursday game, they have a bye the previous week. Then they can travel out of the country, play on a Thursday night after having 11 days since their last game. Then the next game is 10 days later. This allows for plenty of time to rest, travel, and prepare for a good game. Much better than the crap we get on Thursday nights now.

London maybe works. but its still a 5 hour flight to nyc? logistically how would that work. I see mexico city working pretty well as a new city for nfl. Huge population and mexicans really do like nfl quite alot.

lamar cares but he doesnt have the real passion for football like alot of other owners. he just sees the bottom line and is happy cus its a golden goose. his true passion probably is soccer. chiefs are just a business to him. but then again he does seem like he cares. He just believes that if he puts the right people in charge and he steps back and doesnt micromanage that things will work out. I agree half way with that. it is what it is. We could have a better owner, but we could have a wayyyyy worse owner too.
