Will KC get honest officiating if Oakland loses on Saturday?

There is a lot at stake for the NFL..and it's bid to manufacture a winner if Luck keeps his hot hand.

Chiefs game will be played on Sunday...the day after. If KC wins, they regain the #2 seed. Denver loses and the week #17 (vs. Raiders) game becomes less profitable.

If both Oakland and KC lose...its a win for the advertisers. Donkos stay relevant for another week.

Every scenario is a bad situation for The Chiefs. Unfortunately...in the era where profit trumps fair play...this is a legitimate concern.

The whole world saw the depths they will go for the Raiders in Mexico...

Yet KC controlled it's own destiny. Did the refs force DAT to be a lazy fool, or our oline to not block? Or did they call the timeout for Andy? Because unless they controlled all of that we would have won without our own mistakes.

if the NFL controls outcomes why did they let Joe Flacco win a Super Bowl

Funny that you bring up a game where the power went out in the stadium for 40 minutes and completely reversed momentum.

And yet the Ravens won anyway. And if the NFL really wanted to fix a game, or even make the game more interesting/competitive, you think that turning off the power and praying for a shift in momentum is how it would do it?

Ridiculously far-fetched conspiracy theory there. Also not the first time a major professional league saw a power outage in a championship game. But because the Bruins weren't ever going to beat the Gretzky-led Oilers, who cares about that one.

League profits.
I would probably commit Hari Kari if this exact scenario played out.

I don't think the Raiders can beat the Patriots.

The momentum shift stopped the 49ers, who were rolling at that point. And no, I don't think it was a conspiracy. Just an interesting choice to choose that bizarre game as evidence that games aren't fixed.
