Maybe you can get Jelly Belly to create a YPP flavor.

Again, Peppermint Patties are for old people.

Lose the dentures and actually eat some candy. Most Jelly Belly flavors are good.

I still don't think it would win, but that would help.

Jelly bellies are the old person food. They're designed to be eaten without teeth. I think that's why they were invented.

York Peppermint Patties were designed for people who kiss a lot. People on the go. People who engage in society and want to feel minty fresh in the mouth area. Plus, they're packed full of cool, refreshing flavor. Every time I eat a YPP, I get visions of an Antarctic plain full of mingling penguins and supermodels.

We've had a jar of Jelly Belly sitting on the island in the kitchen for 3 months.

My Home office is next to the kitchen and I've watched as my family has tried their luck.

- "Ooh, a red one I hope it's Wild Cherry or Strawberry... Ugh, Cinnamon"

- "Ooh, a deep red one I hope it's Cola or Blackberry... Ugh, Cafe Latte"

They all stop trying their luck once they've had the shitty one.

At this point the jar is sitting there half full as some sort of decoration. They've all been stung enough times to not risk trying another one.

So sometimes they're good?

Well that's better than 100% shitty taste of a Peppermint Pattie.

Jelly Belly is definitely among the best candy. Yeah some of the flavors are just OK and there is the occasional butter popcorn death bomb that disguises itself as good flavors. Sour Jelly Belly mix is elite candy.

Dont forget the dark green one. What is that chlorophyll flavored. I do like the black licorice one though.

For those who like black licorice the Jelly belly is like compacting the flavor of 45,000 clack licorice sticks into a single jelly bean.

While I enjoy it, those that don't like black licorice will hate it 45,000X more than what they thought was a grape flavored jelly bean.
