My friend has lived next to power lines for over 25 years and he and his family have no issues. It was a little dangerous during hurricane sandy though, there were bolts of electricity arcing along the lines.

You have nothing to worry about. There is no risk to your health living near a power line unless you piss into a transformer.
People always seem happier when they flip a switch and the lights come on. Thanks dad, for all of this light to read with! |

I'd lived in my house for about ten years when they started doing a bunch of street work. Apparently in the 1940s the base layer of asphalt contained radioactive stuff from atomic bomb experiments, and it was laid all over my neighborhood. It seemed worrisome at first, but then I remembered that the homeowner in the 1940s lived in the house for 30+ years without apparent harm.

Don't do it. It kills brain cells and you clearly have a shortage of them already.

I have lines running over my backyard. And I have a very large backyard with no neighbor to my north. I'll take it.

That's the house in question, have to look at earth view or street view to see the lines |

What's the deal with the ladder and railing in the K bedroom, does it have a loft in it?

Is the house available because all of the former residents were electrocuted by stray voltage or died from EMf induced leukemia?
No? Probably fine. |
