At the goal line like that ... I've always wondered why teams don't do that more often. Set up your big guy with good hands at RB, put in the next biggest guy as FB and let the big guys plow through.

Yep....a safety or a LB isn't stopping a guy that big.

I know it's probably been said a lot, but Poe does not look like he's that heavy. The Fridge was a tub of goo...Poe looks like he almost has the body composition of a linebacker. Not nearly as much fat as a normal DL.

He WAS gigantic. The guy I always think of when it comes to stuff like this is John Hannah. All world guard, selected in the 1973 draft, he ended his career in 1985. 10 all-pro selections, made the all-decade team for both the 1970s and the 1980s, and selecting as a starting guard on the NFLs' 75th anniversary team, SI had him on its cover asking if he was the best OLineman ever.

There is barely an OLineman now under 300. 265 is more like "big TE or Middle linebacker" size. Gronk is 265 (albeit at 6'7" or whatever, compared to Hannah's 6'2").

So "Fridge" Perry, at 335 or whatever, was huge. Perry and Hannah both played in Super Bowl 20 (1985), though Fridge was a Perry that year, and Hannah was in his last year.
