I said Kansas City area, not Kansas. But being a powerhouse blue blood program, it shouldn't be surprising that we have a large contingent of fans located elsewhere. Most fans of KU are not alumni, they are T-Shirt fans so to speak. Like Notre Dame, Like Michigan football, like North Carolina basketball.

I am a KU fan and admit I am a spoiled Homer that thinks the sun rises and sets on the program and in between, it shoots out Bill Self’s ass.

Michigan State is an elite program and Tom Isso is probably better than Self.

Hunter Mickelson had 7 rebounds, 1 steal, 3 blocks (even though I counted 5) vs Northern Colorado in only 13 minutes. I'd really like to see him get around 18-20 minutes a game. With the way they will call the game this year, it being less physical on the perimeter, our guards won't be able to stop people from getting to the lane as much. Funneling the offensive player towards a shot blocker is going to be more important than ever.
