Iron Maiden: Book of Souls Tour
They have 8 state side dates. One just happened to be in Tulsa... Booked 2 tickets for my son in law and I this morning to see them on Feb 26th at the BOK center.
Marking a line off the bucket list. Anyone else going to see them while they are in the states? List of their shows for 2016 http://www.ironmaiden.com/tourdates.php |

I'm 48. In my bedroom the other day I heard "The Trooper" wafting up between the floorboards from my 20-something renter's apartment. I told him his music wasn't loud enough. He gave me a look. I said, "I first saw them on the Powerslave tour in '85." I have earned respect, LOL.

Maiden shows are awesome. If you haven't gone to one before, you definitely need to go.

I'm not Brock but that is one of my favorite Iron Maiden albums.

I may have to make a trip to Tulsa to see them. It's only a 4 hour drive, IIRC.

I saw them in KC for the Brave New World tour in like 2000. Dissapointed that it was my only Maiden show, but my old man wouldn't let me go to the hay day shows in the 80's.
After watching the Flight 666 documentary, I really wish I could see them one more time, but they just don't do the big American tours anymore...and I'm not crazy about the new stuff. I want to see the Powerslave tour since I missed it back in the day!!

It had to grow on me. I bought it and was concerned about the use of synth, which really started on the Somewhere in Time album. But over the years, I've learned to appreciate this one big time.

Didn't really like anything between powerslave and a brave new world. But I haven't listened to any of that since it was new. Definitely did not dig blaze bayley era stuff.

It's pretty tough to beat the number of the beast-piece of mind-powerslave trio. There's nowhere to go but down from that level of performance.

Probably true but I didn't get my first taste of their music until mid to late 80s when I was middle school/high school age. Hearing Wasted Years from Somewhere In Time for the first time when I was a freshman blew me away.
