Changes that need made to turn the season around

Let's get right down to it.

Start Chase Daniel or Aaron Murray....I think the team would rally around either guy.
Run the ball more...get West and Sherman involved a lot more.
Start Conley and get him involved in the weekly gameplan...this should be our counter punch to teams consistently blitzing.
Activate Steven Nelson and have him play the nickel.
Feed the ball to Kelce and Maclin a lot more...especially on third down.
Let Howard have the NT job full time. The DL was stronger when he was playing more reps. At least IMO.
Move Poe to end full time.
Andy needs to hand over play calling duties to Childress, or Pederson.

I know there are lots of other changes that need made, but that should get us started.

Oh, I'm so glad. I was worried that there was actually going to be a legitimate answer.

Nice list, Boss. However, other than activating Nelson, and maybe, just maybe, using Sherman more, I doubt much more gets done. Nonetheless, I like how you're thinking.

We need to become MUCH more dynamic on offense, and I don't think Alex and Dynamic should ever be used in the same sentence (except for this one). Somehow, someway, Reid needs to get Alex to become a much more productive QB.....sadly, I'm not sure that's possible.

After this game everyone will feel somewhat better. Although it's clear alex Smith needs to be upgraded we will win handily against the Bengals and all the talk on TV and Radio will be the Bengals just really aren't as good as advertised.

This has to be priority number one.

It's almost as if you can tell exactly when the scripted plays, or what I assume are scripted plays, end and Reid starts doing what Reid does. It goes from an organized attack to throwing shit at the wall just to see what sticks.

Isn't ready for what? Throwing 5 yards behind the LOS and running at the first sign of pressure? It's not like he has big shoes to fill. God forbid the Chiefs take a chance at QB I mean all that success is gonna be tough to live up to if they dare to start young blood.

The OP was about turning the season around. Yeah, he'll take more chances than Alex. I don't doubt that. And it would even be great to get him some playing time for experience. But he's not gonna turn the season around. That was my point.

I don't think we have a qb on the roster to turn the season around. But as I replied to Dave Lane, I wouldn't mind seeing what Chase can do.

Starting Daniel isn't going to do much. He's a backup, period. One fair game and everyone thinks he's the next coming of Bart Starr. If a QB change needs to be made, start Murray, or at least have him get some reps. Otherwise, I pretty much agree with the OP.

1. Put in Chase Daniel. Alex Smith has zero confidence in anything right now.
2. Oline needs to get better (Jeff Allen needs to get healthy)
3. Run the football w/ Jamaal Charles....genius right?
4. Throw Kelce the damn ball
5. Sutton needs to get a god damn clue. 5-6 probowlers and a couple/few others who are solid/borderline pb players or are playing at that level and our defense is this piss poor? Sorry that's coaching. He has more than enough talent to get it done, other teams in the league do it better w/ less.
6. ST needs to get better. Reid cut a lot of his ST roster, but that's no excuse really. They don't have to be perfect, but they're borderline terrible and must improve. WTF is wrong w/ DAT this season? He's almost becoming a liability.

Chase Danielsss is not going to fix the issues with this offense... We all saw what he can do last year against SD... People are so desperately looking for anything that will excuse Andy Reids horseshit...

Starting Daniel would at least make for some entertainment, watching the mizzou homers try to explain away his eventual bad play. It would still be spinning our wheels, though. Enough already with our fascination with other team's backups. And no, I don't think starting a 5th rounder is a solution, either. This is a systemic problem that isn't likely to be fixed this year, and it starts at the very tip top of the organization. The scary part to me is that we're three years into Andy Reid with his hand-picked quarterback, and this is what we have. I don't see much reason to hope for the future. Although I do think Dorsey's doing pretty good work building personnel and working the cap.
