Alex Smith vs Teddy Bridgewater : weekly starter thread.

Week 1

Alex @ Houston

Or

Teddy @ SF

Who should I start....I'm truly torn 50/50 on this one this week. Maybe slightly leaning towards Alex.

I am on the Murray train now though. Despite their offensive line issues, he is being fed the ball and catches a few passes too. Next two weeks are Cleveland and Chicago.

I don't usually get into this BUUUUT....

For WR2 this week I am down to:

Donte Moncrief vs. Titans
DaVante Adams vs. Chiefs

I am a little disappointed with Adams and I think Moncrief is for real... his targets are more tied to going to 3WR and Andre Johnson's suck than TY Hilton being injured.

So, this is the BUUUT...

I am starting Chiefs defense. Does it make sense to get Adams so that if he scores and my defense score goes down, at least I get something from Adams? I know this is hedging my bets.

Please convince me I am crazy to consider doing this.

I've done the hedging of the bets in the past and I don't think that it's worked out once for me.

Yes... if we knew for sure Adams was playing. Everything is conjecture at this point. I would probably play it safe and start Johnson. A big zero there is certainly a risk if you end up Monday and find out Adams isn't playing.. or is on a serious snap count.

If we knew he was healthy I would roll with Adams though.

I'd take Abdullah, but I haven't watched much of Doug Martin this year so I don't have a feel for him...

Yeah, that is going to be a tough one all year. I would stick with Martin, but that is because Detroit seems to have three backs in the rotation.
