Not really about toughness, IMO. There's a lot more to this game than toughness. KC had the coaching advantage, but a severely shortened week levels that out. They also had to travel, which is a disadvantage that is exacerbated by the shorter week. Not an excuse for the performance tonight, but these games have been weird all year. It's a money grab at the expense of the game.

Well, they got an extra day to practice..they weren't on a 3 1/2 hour plane ride ..checking into hotels. Unless you have no grasp of reality..that makes a huge difference.
How do you feel after traveling all day? This is the worst KC has looked all season...minus the first game. it is in direct response to this bullshit attempt to make the NFL even more $$$. |

Chiefs lose an NFL record all time 4th game to an 0-10 team while a kid QB and RB no one has ever heard of schools the D and it's the day of the weeks fault?

The Chiefs pussed away a great opportunity to beat a pathetic team and take ten days off. The Raiders did just fine on short rest. |

It's bad, but still had their chances to win.

We got in the jalopy and headed out Californy way six days ago. Made it to the stadium at three, just in time to eat a can of soup and catch some shut eye. Lucky Raiders.

Shit football needs to go.
Particularly the Chiefs. For once the horrible stench in Oakland wasn't coming from the sewer flowing into the dugouts. |

I was against it from the start. The games are never as good.

Hali was exhausted watching the equipment manager carry his bags into the hotel

It didn't seem to bother us last year when we had to go to Philly.

The advantage it gives the home team is even more substantial than on a normal week..I hope the NFL realizes it was a bad idea...
