Those assholes don't represent the majority of the fan base. The districts that most of the dumb ass shit went on in are poor and relatively full of immigrants. I live on Market (which is where a lot of the districts either end or start) that shit was going on outside my house all ****ing night and it sucked. It was like a scene from the Purge. Its a bunch of drunk idiots that use the crowd anonymity aspect to do shit they would never do if they thought they would be held responsible for thier actions. Its embarrassing that I am a fan of the same team they they are.

Got off the phone a little bit ago with someone I know who works fairly high up in the Giants front office. They were blown away by the hospitality and friendliness of the fans, hotel staff, people at Kaufman Stadium etc. Said there was 'no comparison to the people we met, and how we were treated in Kansas City' to their other WS hosts.
Giants PR Director mentioned on the flight back about a full page ad in KC Star thanking the city for its hospitality.

Thought that was pretty cool if it happens. Guess we will know soon enough.

All/most of this stuff was going on South of Market and the Mission, the areas of town where you wouldn't want to live. We have our bad areas. It's not like the entire city is The Full House homes occupied by tech millionaires. Shit can get like the Planet of the Apes on the South end.
