Yeah I think Kaep sold it well... Though the O-lineman blocking downfield should have been his first clue. A dumbass, not a pussy.

EDIT: Looking at it again, he had coverage responsibility for the strong side TE. I think he thought 46 might have gotten behind him and he didn't want to get beaten over the top.

Regardless, that's a pretty stupid play, even for a rookie.

I've seen CB's do stuff like that to avoid contact but not front seven personnel. I would have to think that he had a giant brain fart while reading the play.

When I initially saw the play, I thought he had it locked down for 2 yards at the most cause Gore isn't very fast, and then the OLB responsible for contain spun away from the play like an idiot and I just put my hand to my face. Of course Ford would be in to screw up in run support when Hali would have made the play.
